Bovi Explains Why He Moved His Kids to the UK

Nigerian comedian and actor, Bovi Ugbomma, has opened up about his decision to relocate his children to the United Kingdom (UK), revealing that the move was primarily motivated by concerns over the Nigerian educational system.

Speaking on the recent episode of the ‘Uncolored’ podcast, Bovi shared that his children have been living in the UK for the past two years. He explained that his decision was sparked by his belief that the Nigerian education system has normalized bullying.

Bovi reflected on his own experience, stating, “My kids don’t live in the country anymore. They have been in the UK for two years now. It started by accident, my first son has been there since 2021 in a boarding house.”

He continued, “I went to boarding school in Nigeria, and it made me street-smart. So, I decided that my kid needs to go to boarding school, but not in Nigeria, because the educational system has accepted bullying by empowering students to bully their peers under the guise of senior students disciplining juniors.”
