‘That man is talking nonsense’- Preacher blasts Pastor Damina

A man believed to be a Pastor has censured a Popular Pastor, Abel Damina over his controversial comments about the church.

The pastor who was seen in a viral video vituperated Pastor Damina, saying “that man is talking nonsense.”

In his elongated exhortation, he said, “There is this man in Nigeria from Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria, those of you that know Uyo, Nigeria, that is talking nonsense. Demons, demons enter that man. Demons enter that man. And that man is talking nonsense. Manipulate, you know, manipulating so many people and they are clapping, clapping for him. If I’m to say, that man is no longer in faith. That man from Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria, is no longer in faith.

“That man has persuaded. Another spirit has taken over him. Praise the living God. Do you know one thing that happened? Do you know what happened? I heard him one day on the social media. He was so aggressive to the congregation. What I’m saying is true. Not somebody told me.

“He was so aggressive to his congregation and he was saying, is it because I preach against tithes and none of you is bringing money in the church again. Even money to buy dessert for the generator, we don’t have. Money to pay for television, we don’t have. He was so furious.

“He was so furious. When I stopped preaching the other gospel in this church, most of you were here. And I began to preach Christ and I began to say, tithing is not new to us and all of that. You know, everyone that was in this church stopped paying tithes and naturally stopped giving. Yeah, all of you here, you stopped giving. You started dropping flimsy change, change from keke na pep. You just drop it. So now, I’m not putting it on you, but at the same time I’m rebuking you. And the rebuke is for those who are still dropping, change money because there’s no tithe. So it means in the first place, you were never giving to God. You were giving to yourself.

“Because the reason why you were giving is so that devourers will not come. So it was for self-preservation. It was not because you loved God. Because if it was God you were giving to and you discover that there’s no problem that will happen, he will still be giving. But you gave because you were in fear.

“If you don’t tithe, it will be tithe. If you don’t tithe, Satan will come. Devourers will come. So because of that, you were religiously bringing tithe, religiously. As soon as your salary comes, ah, 10%, don’t touch it, don’t touch it. I don’t want trouble. So you were faithful. When I now say no, trouble will not come. God is not a monster.

“He’s not New Testament, all that hell. Okay, no problem. So now we can give God any how we like. So you started dropping because you were never a generous person, number one. Number two, you were never in love with the purpose of God. You were only in love with your selfishness. And if you’re still giving like that, I put it to your face straight. Not behind you, you’re a selfish person. But it means you have not understood the riches of God’s grace. Now, anyways, back to the story. So all the finances stopped and we’re just having little, little monies. Barely enough to buy half of the diesel. How can we run the church? If you do not bring your tithe and offering?”
