House of Reps begin probe of DSS court invasion to rearrest Sowore

The House of Representatives has resolved to investigate the invasion and disruption of court proceedings by operatives of the Department of State Services in the attempt to re-arrest the convener of the #RevolutionNow protests, Omoyele Sowore.

The resolution followed the unanimous adoption of a motion moved by the Minority Leader, Mr Ndudi Elumelu, at the plenary on Tuesday.

The Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, who prevented lawmakers from debating the matter, referred it to the relevant committees for investigation.
