Nigerian music superstar Davido has expressed his disappointment after losing his N26 million diamond ring during a vacation in Jamaica.

As reported by Afripost, in a candid conversation with his jeweller, Ice By CW, the Grammy-nominated artist revealed that the ring accidentally slipped off his finger and fell into the ocean while he was aboard a boat.

The 001 diamond ring, which was a unique and prized piece in Davido’s collection, had special sentimental value. Despite his sadness over the loss, the “30BG” leader assured his jeweller that he intends to replace the ring with an even more luxurious one.

Fans on social media reacted to the news, with some humorously suggesting they would dive into the ocean to retrieve the valuable piece, while others were impressed by Davido’s willingness to purchase a more extravagant ring without hesitation.

In his discussion with Ice By CW, Davido clarified that he wasn’t looking for an exact replica of the lost ring, but rather aiming for something even more luxurious to add to his collection.
