EFCC to Auction 891 Seized Vehicles

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to auction 891 vehicles that were seized in compliance with various laws, including the EFCC (Establishment) Act of 2004 and the Proceeds of Crime Act of 2022.

The online auction will begin on January 20, 2025, and end on January 27, 2025. Interested buyers can place their bids through designated auction sites: www.rihogo.com, https://biznjeg.ng, and www.areogunresourcesniglid.com.ng.

The auction is open nationwide, and bids will be accepted daily between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

The vehicles are being sold “AS IS” and “WHERE IS,” meaning they will be sold in their current condition and location.

A minimum price for each vehicle has been set, and bidders must meet or exceed this price to secure a sale, Tribune reports.

Winning bidders are required to pay the full amount within 72 hours using Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR), with a 7.5% VAT added to the final price.
