A Wuse Magistrate Court in Abuja has ordered the detention of Enenche Enenche, Alexander Enenche, and Pastor Abraham Daniel at the Keffi Correctional Centre in Nasarawa State, following allegations of orchestrating fake miracles.
According to Afripost, Enenche and Alexander are siblings of Pastor Paul Enenche, the General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Church, while Pastor Abraham Daniel is a former pastor of the church.
The remand was based on a court order obtained by the Nigerian Police Force after the trio reported to the Force Intelligence Department (FID) in Abuja on Monday in response to an invitation.
Initially, the three individuals were detained on January 7, 2025, under accusations of cyberbullying and defamation against Pastor Paul Enenche, but they were released the following day after committing to an amicable resolution of the matter.
They were instructed to report back to the FID on January 10 and again on January 13, 2025. Upon their appearance on January 13, they were detained and later remanded following the court’s directive.
A source disclosed that the police obtained the remand order without revealing specific details, such as the magistrate’s identity or the duration of their detention. The source further indicated plans to file a fundamental rights application to contest the remand order.
