An appeal has been made to the Ondo State Government to urgently consider the rehabilitation of the following roads: Ogbagi to Arigidi, Ogbagi to Eshe to Afin, and the less than 2 kilometers stretch from Agbaluku to Imo Arigidi Akoko.

This request aims to facilitate easy transportation of food crops to the markets.

Chief Oladele Amodo, a community leader from Ogbagi Akoko, emphasized the significance of rural roads for the socioeconomic growth of Ondo State, stating that government alone cannot fulfill all requests.

He highlighted the importance of community efforts to complement government initiatives in providing social amenities.

Mr. Ibrahim Ajayi, another community leader from Agbaluku Arigidi, reminded the state government about the abandonment of a less than 2 kilometers stretch of road for the past 12 years. He expressed concerns that this abandonment has hindered economic development in the area.

However, they commended the state government for including Ifira Akoko to Afo in Ose Local Government among the recently approved rural roads.
