60th Birthday: How Sen. Nicholas Tofowomo cheated death 3 times

By Akinrinlola Olumide

Distinguished Senator Nicholas Tofowomo is sixty years of age today! Congratulations @ my principal and benefactor. But today isn’t the time to celebrate you. It is the time to celebrate God and thank Him for your continued existence on this planet earth.

Many people may not understand this, but you and I, with some of your confidants, would understand better. Only a few people knew that you cheated death three times, because the Lord God was on your side.

In December 2006, you cheated death at Eko Hospital, because the Lord God was on your side.

In September 6, 2019, you cheated death on Ilesa-Akure Expressway in Igbara Oke, the headquarters of Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, especially when the vehicle conveying you and four others escaped that heavy-duty truck and rammed into an oncoming vehicle in a fatal accident that unfortunately claimed the life of late Mrs. Toyin Ajinde. This was also because the Lord God was on your side.

In October 18, 2019, you were returned to the hospital and you cheated death again and again, because the Lord God was also on your side.

All hopes were lost throughout that turbulent month of October. But God closed the grave, broke that satanic casket, and delivered you from that stormy wind of death that almost carried you away, also because the Lord God was on your side.

The Southern senatorial district has also been witnessing tremendous changes since you became the senator as you have impacted the lives of your constituents through series of people driven projects, programs and appointments. I can only wish you long life, good health and more impacts in Ondo South, congratulations sir.

And this is the reason God should be celebrated today instead of celebrating your 60th birthday.

Glory and honor unto God, your Saviour in Heaven.
