Chief (Dr.) Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, Iyaloja of Lagos and the daughter of President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, has been crowned as the Ààre Oja of Okun Land.
The Coronation Ceremony took place on Sunday, August 27 by the Obaaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Owoniyi at his palace in Kogi State.
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, and popular Nollywood actor, Saheed Balogun, were among notable individuals who witnessed the ceremony.
Speaking on the development, Folasade who recently declared herself as the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria on her X, former Twitter handle, appreciateed Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello and his wife H. E Mrs Rashida Bello, for receiving her into Kogi State.
She also extended grantitude to Okun-Area Traditional council and people of Okun-Land for the honour. While she shared a photo of herself with Yahaya Bello’s wife Rashidat.
She wrote; “I hereby present to you Chief (Dr.) Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, The Ààre Oja of Okun Land.
“I want to say a big THANK YOU to His Excellency, @OfficialGYBKogi & his beautiful & dutiful wife H. E Mrs Rashida Bello, for receiving me well into Kogi State & to Okun-Area Traditional council & the great people of Okun-Land for the great honour.

“I want to thank Her Excellency, the First Lady of Kogi State; Mrs. Rashida Yayaha Bello for the warm reception,” she added..
The Iyaloja of Lagoshad recently launched her latest project, Friends of Iyaloja Initiative, which she said will channel her experience, connections and human resources towards supporting her father’s administration.
“I shall be focusing on Youth & Women Empowerment, empowering people with Special Needs, empowering the vulnerable and several other programs aimed at affecting the lives of Nigerians, especially, those in the grassroots.
“We shall partner with other notable NGOs with track records of excellence in the key areas. We shall also seek collaborations with several governmental agencies, ministries and parastatals created to serve Nigerians in areas that pertain to our operational cycle,” she wrote.
