2022 National Sports Festival Mascot Unveiled

..Asaba looks ready to give us an Olympic.

 

 

 

 

Sports was the winner on a day the Sports Minister, Sunday Dare jetted out to Asaba immediately after Wednesday’s State’s Council Meeting in Abuja, to lead the Mascot unveiling ceremony of Delta 2022 National Sports Festival.

 

 

 

During the event, Sunday Dare stated that the National Sports Festival is no longer a Sports event that should go unnoticed in the country, instead it must come with pomp, pageantry and colourful ceremonies.

 

 

 

During the event, Dare remarked thus, “National Sports Festival is no longer a corridor event. It is a classy event celebrated with pomp and ceremony reminiscent of the Olympics”.

 

 

 

“Asaba is really ready with the unveiling of mascots. These are some of the little details obtainable at the Olympics, and it’s on display in Delta State.

 

 

 

 

 

He further charged the various committees to ensure that Delta delivers a sports event that would set the tone for the future through its planning and execution.

 

 

 

Hon. Sunday Dare graced the event alongside Delta state Governor and the Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in attendance to join forces and lift sports higher in the country.

 

 

 

The National Sports Festival will hold in November and the best of the Nigerian Sports will be on display in Asaba.
