2019: Tofowomo Wins PDP Tikect In Ondo South As Senatorial Candidate

–Promises not to be an Advocate to legalise corruption but of development for Ondo South

–Says I will work with Ademulegun, Ebiseni to flush out APC in 2019

Otunba Nicholas Tofowomo, former commissioner for transport in Ondo State, has emerged the Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), in Ondo South against 2019 forth coming general election.

He pulled 241 votes to defeat his closest rival, Engr Ademulegun who scored 227 votes.

Chief Sola Ebiseni came third with 177 votes while 13 votes were voided.

Tofowomo has however reacted to his victory after he was declared winner yesterday as Senatorial Candidate for the PDP in Ondo South following a peaceful and transparent primary election that took place yesterday at Okitipupa, Ondo State.

According to him: ” Everyone of us who contested are one family, from thesame party. So, there is no victor , no vanquished. I will only achieve victory when I keep my co-contestants together to flush out the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019. I need Ademulegun and Ebiseni and of course, I need the support of my people in Ondo South to achieve this.

“I am using this opportunity to assure the people of Ondo South that I will not dissapoint them. I promise not to waste their mandate if given me in 2019. I won’t be at the senate to be an advocate to legalise corruption but an advocate of development for my people in Ondo South. I will be productive”, he said.
