2 arraigned for allegedly fighting in public.

Two youths, Rebecca Isioma and Solomon Taiwo, appeared before the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan on Friday, facing charges of public fighting.

The individuals, whose addresses were not disclosed, pleaded not guilty to charges of breaching the peace and engaging in affray.

Prosecutor Mr. Philip Amusan informed the court that the alleged incident occurred on June 14 around 9:00 p.m. at the Oke-Bola area in Ibadan, where the defendants reportedly got into a physical altercation, disturbing public peace.

The charges are in violation of Section 83 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.

Magistrate Sukurat Yusuf granted bail to the defendants, setting the amount at N100,000 each, with two sureties each in the same amount. The case has been adjourned until July 19 for hearing.
